Violin Instructor

Jesper Tai is a Singaporean violinist praised for sensitivity and leadership in his playing. A passionate chamber musician, Jesper collaborates across diverse ensembles and is currently the second violinist of the Bencoolen Quartet, the only pre-conservatory quartet selected for the 2026 Singapore Chamber Music Festival’s Advanced Quartet Program. 

 

Jesper is an active orchestral musician and has performed extensively with the Singapore National Youth Orchestra and with professional ensembles such as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Re:Sound Collective Orchestra. He has also appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Singapore National Youth Sinfonia, Kids' Philharmonic, and others.

 

​Beyond violin performance, Jesper contributes as a Conducting Fellow with the Kids’ Philharmonic Orchestra Singapore and Student Conductor for the Nanyang Polytechnic Symphony Orchestra.
