
Wang Hao (王昊)

Wang Hao started learning the violin at the age of 8.
He studied with Foo Say Ming at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and graduated with a Diploma in Music Performance as a high scorer in 2013. In the same year, he received a full scholarship to continue his studies at NAFA and the Royal College of Music (RCM) in the collaborative NAFA-RCM Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree program. In 2015, he successfully graduated with honours (2nd upper class). During his time in NAFA, Wang Hao was the concertmaster of the NAFA Orchestra and leader of NAFA’s Project Strings.
Wang Hao has participated in competitions back in 2005. He received the Gold award in CCTV’s National Children Competition in China. In 2013, He was awarded the first prize of the Thailand Mozart International String Competition.
Wang Hao has also performed in orchestras such as The Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO), re: mix and the Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO).
Currently, Wang Hao is a full-time Instructor at kids’ philharmonic@sg.
