From the age of six, Li Lulu has been talented on the piano, completing her grade examinations with Distinctions in a span of 5 years, from 1992 to 1997, and distinguishing her quality in numerous competitions, attaining first prize in the Pearl River Youth Piano Competition.
In 1997, Li studied at Wuhan Conservatory of Music under a full scholarship, concurrently attending masterclasses and performances in Wuhan. Li eventually obtained an invitation to attend performances at a music festival in America under full scholarship, obtaining distinctive appraisement at the festival.
In 2009, Li obtained a Performance Diploma at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts ( NAFA ) under Mrs Rena Phua, achieving an Honourable Mention in Music Essentials Piano Concerto Competition in 2006 and Lucien Wang Piano Competition in 2009 in her time there. She also got her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance in 2010 and got the Lee Foundation Bursary in 2010.In addition, she attended many masterclasses under the tutelage of famous local musicians such as Professor Lee Kum Sing and Dennis Lee.
