Si Yuan teaches Double bass, Cello, Piano, and Music theory at kids’ philharmonic@sg  and also teaches double bass and cello at many schools throughout Singapore, some of the schools he is currently teaching or taught at include CHIJ Secondary, Singapore Korean International School, CHIJ Kellock. Greendale Secondary School,  Changkat Changi Secondary school and more. 

 

In 2021, Siyuan started a studio that brings Cellist and Bassists together to play as a group in an ensemble setting, this first of its kind project in Singapore aims to build a strong music ecosystem for the nurturing of Cello and Double Bass players in Singapore, the project aims to cultivate an appreciation of Cello and Double bass music in the local arts and music scene, enriching the Singaporean cultural landscape in the process.
