Han Xingzhi (韩兴志)

Han Xingzhi started learning the violin at the age of 7. In 2008, he studied with Li You, the Head of Strings of Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

In 2010, he received a scholarship to study at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) under the tutelage of Foo Say Ming, the Head of Strings.

In 2013, he received the NAFA Music Performance Degree Grant and continued his studies at NAFA and the Royal College of Music (RCM) in the collaborative NAFA-RCM Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree program, where he worked with violinist Itzhak Rashkovsky.

During his time at NAFA, Xingzhi has taken part in many performances locally and overseas. He is the Fixed Chair in the NAFA orchestra and NAFA Project Strings. He also learned conducting with Joost Christiaan Flach, the Head of Wind Studies in NAFA.

Xingzhi has also performed with ensembles such as re: mix, The Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) and the Singapore Lyric Opera (SLO).
